HCE Medical Group Sponsors A Tree of Life at Queen Margaret’s University
HCE Medical Group are proud to be supporting the 150th anniversary of Queen Margaret’s University (www.qmu.ac.uk) in Musselburgh, Edinburgh through a donation to support their students.
Dobbies Garden World donated 150 Rowan trees to commemorate the anniversary of Queen Margaret’s University in 2025 and HCE Medical Group has named one of these trees on their green and environmentally friendly campus. On 28th September, on a glorious sun shining day, Raj Singh, Sapna Chadha and Helen Hain visited the university to become the first healthcare equipment provider to sponsor a tree of life in the campus grove.
Queen Margaret’s University is an innovative campus with a commitment to sustainability which is part of HCE Medical Groups values. Funds from the Trees of Life programme support the Student Development Fund which ensures all of their students have the opportunity to get their big ideas off the ground and to develop projects that reflect their enthusiasm, creativity and initiative.
Raj Singh, CEO, HCE Medical Group said ‘Queen Margaret’s cutting-edge use of technologies and solutions across their campus to reduce their impact on the environment is inspirational. We are honoured to support developing students at such a forward-thinking university which focuses on health and rehabilitation innovation’
Professor Joe Goldblatt, Senior Alumni, Queen Margaret’s University said ‘These trees were donated by Dobbies Garden Centres and 100% of the funds go to support our students. Therefore, we are delighted with HCE Medical Group’s generous gift and partnership with our university’
